Privacy Policy
Placeholder document. Insurance Why is a fictitious brand used in a demonstration build. This page exists so the funnel's footer and consent links resolve; it is not legal advice and is not a real privacy policy.
Information we would collect
A funnel of this shape collects: ZIP code, current coverage status and carrier, coverage tenure, claims/violation history, homeownership, marital status, gender, license status, military affiliation, credit score band, date of birth, vehicle year/make/model/trim for up to three vehicles, and name, email, street address and phone number.
What this demo actually does
Nothing is transmitted. Answers are held in your browser's sessionStorage for the
duration of the tab and are cleared when the results page renders. There is no server, no
analytics, and no third-party tags on these pages.
How a live site would use it
Lead-generation sites in this category share submitted information with participating insurance carriers, agents and marketing partners, who may contact the consumer by phone, SMS and email under the consent granted at the final step.
CA Privacy Rights
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. A live site must provide a working "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism and a contact channel for these requests. This demo collects nothing, so there is nothing to disclose, delete, or opt out of.
